Meghauli has a small airport that services flights to and from Kathmandu, while the neighbouring town of Bharatpur services flights from both Kathmandu and Pokhara. Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport is Nepal’s busiest, with regular flights from major Indian and South Asian hubs.

Meghauli and Bharatpur both have bus stands that are a regular stop for buses from Kathmandu. The regular Tourist Buses that advertise trips to Chitwan National Park stop at Sauraha town, a few kilometres from Meghauli.

Nepal’s Prithvi Highway, which links Pokhara and Kathmandu, passes through Bharatpur, which is about half an hour outside Meghauli. The journey takes about five hours to complete.
